Is it legal to buy fireworks in Joshua / Johnson County?
Yes. Our stand sits in unincorporated Johnson County where consumer fireworks are legal to buy and use during the season. Fireworks rules vary by city and county in Texas, so always check your local city ordinances before you discharge — many cities restrict it inside their limits. We're happy to answer questions when you stop by.
What kinds of fireworks do you sell?
We carry a full range of consumer fireworks: artillery shells, 500-gram cakes, roman candles and rockets, sparklers and novelties, family fun packs, and grand finale bundles. There's something for every celebration, from sparklers to full backyard shows.
Do you offer bulk or party packages?
Absolutely. We build family fun packs and grand finale bundles at great value, and for larger parties or bulk orders we'll put together a custom package to fit your celebration. Call or text (214) 952-9751 and we'll get you set up.
What are your hours and season?
BoomBox is a seasonal stand, open June 24th through July 5th for the Fourth of July. Daily hours are posted on our Facebook as we get closer to opening — follow us for the latest updates and specials.
How early should I buy my fireworks?
The earlier the better. Our most popular items — especially artillery shells and grand finale bundles — sell out fast every year. Come see us right when we open on June 24th for the best selection and first pick.
Are all fireworks sales final?
Yes. Because of safety regulations and the nature of pyrotechnic products, all sales are final. We stand behind the quality of everything we sell — if you ever get a defective product, contact us and we'll make it right.
